About this deal

Nika Tiki is from Marlborough the main wine growing area in all of New Zealand delivering the benchmark style of Sauvignon Blanc.

As the saying goes, if the food works well with a squeeze of lemon (fish, chicken), then Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect match! With its vibrant flavours and easy-drinking style, the Nika Tiki Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a great value wine that is sure to please any Sauvignon Blanc lover. The grape most likely gets its name from the French words sauvage and blanc due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France.

In cooler climates, the grape has a tendency to produce wines with noticeable acidity and “green flavors” of grass, green bell peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes.

What Captain Cook should have bought was a bottle of Nika Tiki Sauvignon Blanc, as this wine is crafted with the same spirit as its namesake expressing beautiful aromas of lime kaffir, fresh grapefruit and elderflower with a lingering steely finish.
