About this deal

I have found everything you said about Koi (one of my new favorites for urban sketching) to be absolutely true. The water flow is slow and deliberate, but if you don't have that sucker lefty tightened all the way down then water will come out of the seam and not the brush tip. Colours included: Chinese White, Lemon Yellow, Permanent Yellow Light, Permanent Yellow Deep, Aureoline Hue, Gamboge, Brilliant Yellow, Permanent Orange, Vermilion Hue, Cadmium Red Hue, Permanent Red Deep, Madder Lake Light, Crimson Lake, Carmine, Quinacridone Pink, Pink Madder, Purple, Permanent Blue Violet, Ultramarine Deep, Ultramarine Light, Permanent Blue Red, Cobalt Blue Hue, Cerulean Blue Hue, Turquoise Blue, Indanthrene Blue, Prussian Blue, Indigo, Permanent Green Pale, Permanent Green, Emerald Green, Viridian Hue, Phthalocyanine Green, Permanent Green Deep, Sap Green, Terre Verte, Olive Green, Raw Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Light Red, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Vandyke Brown, Sepia, Payne's Grey and Ivory Black.

I bought a pack of unbleached flat cloth diapers to use as brush wipes and they are my new favorite things. Koi® CAC (Creative Art Colors) Water colors are compact kits packed with unique colors and effects for one of a kind projects. I took it camping with me last summer and it proved to be a great option to document some of our trip!

I personally chose the 48 count because I thought it would give me a good range of colors while also being affordable. So using the reference as a guide I started laying down some fairly diluted gray shapes on each of the three orange fish.

Explore a whole new spectrum of stunning effects by mixing these Creative Art Colors with your traditional watercolor set.I noticed that if you don't go pretty light on some of the colors they don't break down completely and you end up with a chalky tone, but if you start light and work darker they are fine. Cass Art, Cass Art London and the Cass Art logo are trade marks and trade names of Art-Line Limited. Also if you come across a hair that has been bent [either by you or from manufacturing] just snip it off abit above from where it bends - this is because of the material, once bent out of shape you can't really smooth it back into the rest and DO NOT cut the hair close to the sealed end your holding as if this gets caught it could damage the end, so atleast cut it half a centimetre away from the base.

The Cotmans are great for small plain air, but some colors are very staining and hard to lift or push around. Colours include Aureoline Hue, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Red Hue, Carmine, Cerulean Blue Hue, Chinese White, Cobalt Blue Hue, Crimson Lake, Emerald Green, Gamboge, Indanthrene Blue, Indigo, Ivory Black, Jaune Brilliant, Lemon Yellow, Light Red, Madder Lake Light, Olive Green, Payne’s Gray, Permanent Blue Light, Permanent Blue Red, Permanent Blue Violet, Permanent Green, Permanent Green Deep, Permanent Green Pale, Permanent Orange, Permanent Red Deep, Permanent Yellow, Permanent Yellow Deep, Permanent Yellow Light, Phthalocyanine Green, Pink Madder, Prussian Blue, Purple, Quinacridone Rose, Raw Sienna, Raw Umber, Sap Green, Sepia, Terre Verte, Turquoise Blue, Ultramarine Deep, Ultramarine Light, Vandyke Brown, Vermilion Hue, Viridian Hue, and Yellow Ochre. It is worth baring in mind that the paints will stain the fibres so clean them as best you can, don't be too vigorous and don't worry about splaying the hairs - so long as you have hold of the end and don't bend any of the hairs they can be easily re-pointed when your finished. Koi fish are incredibly decorative Japanese fish and are well known for their variety of colors and markings. If we left all the analysis at this point, you would say, “Well for heaven’s sake, why would anyone bother getting the Winsor and Newton over the Sakura if there’s only a tiny difference?Koi’s rich colour assortment offers the choice to create bold hues or soft and subtle shades with the addition of pearlescent, metallic and fluorescent watercolours. The Winsor and Newton genuine single-pigment colors have some organic granulation going on, but since the Sakura Koi hues are presumably synthetic imitations, they are smooth and more opaque, like inks. These pigment-based, student-grade watercolour paints are formulated to blend easily, so artists can create an endless range of hues beyond the available colors in the line. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Free time is rare and short, and there are no shortage of things vying for a slice of it: Books I should read, shows I want to watch, games I want to play, episodes of a certain pen podcast I want to listen too.
